On a warm summer evening (29 July 2010) my daughter and I visited the Roman Baths. It was tranquil after the busy day we had spent in the City. As darkness fell torch lights flickered in the night air and enhanced the atmosphere of the Great Bath.

We visited the Roman Bath and were very impressed with the presentation of the Baths and feel that our vist was enhanced by the free excellent audio guides. We spent two very full hours there and found the Baths very interesting and would recommend a visit to anyone visiting the city.

We threw coins into the baths and made a wish in this magical place.  The light, the space, and the atmosphere created by the baths themselves, plus the beauty of the architecture was intensely evocative of Roman Civilisation.  An out of time experience.  Am selecting the more unusual images for interest.

The sheer awe that overcomes one as they have the privilege of witnessing the spectacular and amazing engineering as if untouched for so many years in such a historic place. A must see.

My partner visited bath to see the Roman Baths and I was so amazed, worth every penny miss it miss out. Enjoy.
